BuildCalc calculation tools, tonnage estimates, material volume conversions, and cost modeling algorithms are designed for preliminary planning, budget estimation, and reference purposes only. Material bulk densities, compaction ratios, supplier delivery minimums, and site conditions will vary. Always verify final structural orders with a licensed contractor or material engineer before pouring or paving.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the BuildCalc website (https://buildcalc.app) and associated web calculation utilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Permitted Use & Free License
BuildCalc grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our web-based calculation tools, generate PDF estimates, export bills of quantities (BOQ), and share project links for personal, educational, commercial, or trade purposes.
You agree not to:
- Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or scrape our proprietary calculation models for wholesale redistribution.
- Use automated bots or crawlers to overload server infrastructure or degrade performance for other users.
- Misrepresent BuildCalc estimates as certified civil engineering stamp approvals without independent professional review.
3. Estimation Accuracy & No Warranty
The materials, formulas, and estimates on BuildCalc are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. BuildCalc makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of material tonnage calculations, price per ton estimates, or contractor bids.
Site topography, aggregate absorption, subbase compaction, rolling temperature, and local asphalt plant mix formulas will affect actual in-place tonnage.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BuildCalc, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profit, material over-purchase, construction delays, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use our calculation software.

BuildCalc reserves the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any posted modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated terms.
